The Miracle Ghost

⚜️ AES aka The Miracle Ghost has a style that is deceptively simple yet at a closer look there is an attention to symmetry and context that takes years to achieve. He got into graffiti after moving to Caracas, Venezuela. At that time the graffiti scene was strong there due to the writers that kept the culture alive. He met kids there within his school that spoke about bombing and tagging and at the time he had no idea what any of it was but after painting with his classmates he ended up falling in love with the culture. He grew up drawing anime but never perceived it as making art just as something he loved to do. It wasn't until he moved to Miami that he first came across art.⚜️

⚜️ 1. On your bad days how do you stay motivated?

◼️ "I have a solid morning routine of cold water, sunbathing, deep breathing and exercise that can turn any bad day into a great day. Whenever I have a bad day it's because I let it. I am fully responsible for that shit".◼️

⚜️ 2. What tools do you wish you had when you first started?

◼️ "Extendable ladder". ◼️

⚜️ 3. Do you have any advice for those just starting out?

◼️ "Do your research, pick a dope name or character you truly like. Sketch every day, go out and paint, be consistent, be picky with the spots you paint, take good pictures, connect with other writers but most importantly take care of yourself. There are so many sad stories within the graffiti community of writers being homeless, alcoholics or drug addicts, etc. because they didn't take care of themselves. Be smart, live well and then you can go out and destroy some walls."◼️
