Penuria

Penuria is a tattoo artist from Cordoba, Argentina that has a unique style of lettering reminiscent of an octopus's tentacles or the roots of a tree. His work started in 2017. It is dark, ethereal and from the beginning it's been inspired by hip hop and hardcore music. He explained that art and music create its own aesthetic when combined. He also spoke with reverence to Norm whom he was also inspired by for his lettering style.

◼️2. When did you start tattooing? What inspired you to start? 

By becoming more engulfed by hip hop and hardcore music I realized how intertwined the tattoo world was to it. And so, with that my own aesthetic was influenced by it. Most of my lettering work is also inspired by Norm (may he rest in peace). Today I'm very thankful for the path I took with tattooing. I look forward to all there is to come.
