Pain Sugar is a DIY exhibition space that is dedicated to showcasing local and international works of art. The roots of it started as an art supply shop called Urge Palette @UrgePalette Solidarity and relationships with artists and movements are important to them. They come from a history of curating art shows, pop-ups hosted in basements, studios, and public areas since 2005. Their current space, the Pain Sugar Gallery, opened its doors in October of 2017.
